Career Goals

Near Term:  To continue to gain experienced in film production by writing, directing, and shooting short films.  

Long Term:  To work with experience film makers on feature films.    

Education

Bachelor of Fine Arts (2011)

Associate of Arts Degree- Jefferson Community College.  

As part of my education I have learned about composition, balance, unity and other artistic factors.  These skills can help me to portray a message or vision.

Certificate - “Shooting Film”- The Maine International Film Workshops.  

I have worked with the ARRI SRII and the ARRI SR235.  In this course I learned to load and shoot 16mm and 35mm film, as well as work with people on a set.

Skills and Equipment

Proficient with Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier.  (I have been editing for seven years)

I own and shoot with a Panasonic HVX200 in HD. 

I have been on numerous sets and understand how to work around people on shoots.      

Notable Projects and Awards

48 Hour Film Project 2007

“Blessed are the Peacemakers” Best Production Design and Best Use of Character. 

As a member of “Team Dream Team” I was the Director of Photography and the Editor.

Forecastle Festival

Worked on the media team in 2006,07,08,09.  Shot interviews and live bands and headlining acts such as, Robert F Kennedy Jr. 

Veteran Affairs 

Worked with Congressman John Yarmuth shooting interviews with veterans.  These interviews are available in the Library of Congress.
